What is mesothelioma and mesothelioma types ?

Perhaps only a few of us who knew or even just heard about the disease mesothelioma. Or maybe you say this disease same as  lung cancer? Therefore, in this first post, I will share you what is mesothelioma, The type of mesothelioma and what kind of difference this disease with lung cancer

Based on some references that I can, I can interpret Malignant mesothelioma is a disease in which a cancerous tumor grows on the mesothelium - the sac lining the internal body Cavities. The disease is extremely rare, in America this disease attacked only 3000 people per year. But mesothelioma can be categoriesed of dangerous and deadly disease.

How many and type of mesothelioma ?

There are 2 types of disease are pleural mesothelioma and peritoneal mesothelioma. Type this disease are distinguished by where the cancer started. If mesothelioma starts in the chest, or it happens in the pleura that surrounds the Lungs (outer lining of the Lungs and internal chest wall), it calls pleural mesothelioma. Approximately 70% of mesothelioma is pleural mesothelioma. The other this disease is Peritoneal mesothelioma starts in the lining of the abdominal cavity.

What's different with lung cancer mesothelioma.

It seems the same as mesothelioma lung cancer. But there is little difference. Mesothelioma is called the "asbestos lung cancer", The difference is if Lung cancers occur inside the lung itself; but mesothelioma occurs in the lining of the lung. So it is very obvious differences.
